QCNA REP TRIAL & SELECTION PROCESS 12 – 15 yrs
Trials for 2019 QCNA 12-15yrs Representative Teams will be held as per the below dates.
All interested players are invited to trial.
Following the completion of Trials, the 2019 QCNA Squads for each age group will be announced in the weeks after trials. Training for the season will begin early February 2019.
Final Team placements will occur in 2019 following several weeks of Squad training.
Up to Two (2) teams will be selected to participate in the State Age Championships in July 2019 and also 2–3 Representative Carnivals throughout the season.
At the discretion of the selectors, a third team (Development Team) may be formed and will participate in approximately 3 Rep Carnivals. Players selected in QCNA Development Teams are players who have been identified with the talent to train at the Rep level and will be the first players to be considered for movement into the State Age Teams should a player withdraw for any reason. Development teams will attend Rep Carnivals only.
Trial 1: Sunday, 28 October 2018
Trial 2: Saturday, 10 November 2018
Players turning 12 and 13 in 2019 (i.e. born 2007 and 2006)
8:00am to 11:00am
Players turning 14 and 15 in 2019 (i.e. 2005 and 2004)
12:00pm to 2:00pm
Players are asked to nominate 2 preferred positions. Please note, players may be trialled, selected or required to play alternate positions at the discretion of selectors.
Players must bring: Please bring a water bottle and a light snack
LOCATION: Trials will be held at Eatons Hill State School Sports Hall (Indoor courts), Eatons Crossing Road, Eatons Hill
IMPORTANT: All players are asked NOT to wear netball uniforms of any description (e.g. club, rep association, school, districts, etc). Indiscriminate bike pants and t-shirt/singlet’s only please.

New players to QCNA in 2019, with previous Rep experience, may apply for squad selection by contacting QCNA Office.
Attendance at training is compulsory for all Representative players.
If unable to attend training, the team manager must be notified as early as possible. Players frequently missing training without good reason may be asked to meet with a member of QCNA Executive and provide reason why they should not be withdrawn from the team.
Training is held on Sunday afternoons at the JACKIE O’MEARA COURTS Downey Park, Windsor.
Squad Training is expected to commence early February 2019 – time to be advised.
Training Uniform: QCNA Training Singlet & QCNA bike pants
Being part of the QCNA Rep Program requires all players and their parents to sign Player and Parents Agreement Forms. Signing these agreements confirms both the player’s and parents’ commitment to the QCNA Representative Program and the ability to meet all associated responsibilities including attendance at training, competition dates and payment of fees. The Player Agreement Forms and the Codes of Behaviour for Players and Parents will be forwarded upon selection, to be signed by players and parents.
