2026 Summer Season


Key Details


  • Ages U10 – Opens – Competitive rules for all divisions
  • Players are required to play in the age group of their oldest player. If you wish to request consideration to play in a different age division, please submit your request via email
  • Mixed and Walking divisions (subject to minimum 6 teams entering)
  • Medals for the winning team of every division
  • Teams get to vote for 3 charities which we donate to at the end of the season 
  • Teams are to supply their own umpires with appropriate experience
  • Teams are to supply their own bibs, ball and scorer each week
  • All scoring will be on Netball Connect so teams need a suitable smart phone
  • Games are 12-minute quarters
  • Registrations are now open – be quick as they fill fast!

Cost

$100 per player. NB: There will be an additional $64 for any player NOT already registered with Netball Qld for 2026.


How to register

Managers register the team here and then a link is sent for individual players to register and pay.

Registrations close: 15 September 2026 (or sooner if divisions are full).


Games are held

Tuesday Nights, 6 October – 24 November 2026 (Term 4).


Divisions

Juniors:

  • U10
  • U11
  • U12
  • U13
Boys are permitted to play in all Junior ages (U10 to U13) – max of 2 boys on the court at the same time

Seniors:

  • Cadets (14-15 years)
  • Inters: (16-18 Years)
  • Opens: 16 years and over
  • Mixed Open: 16+ (One division)
  • Walking Open: 16+ (One division)


Expected Division Game Times:

  • 5.30pm – U10, U11 & U12
  • 6.30pm – U13, Cadets, Walking
  • 7.30pm – Inters, Opens, Mixed


Note: Times and divisions may vary subject to team numbers registered. All divisions may play over 2 time slots depending on team registrations. Extra game times may be added subject to team numbers.


What division to nominate in?

You will be able to nominate your team into Division 1, 2 or 3. Our recommendations are:

Div 1 – Playing rep and play in division 1 or 2 in club season
Div 2 – Playing division 3 or 4 in club season
Div 3 – Playing socially, new to netball and/or playing division 5 – 7 in club season

All Divisions are subject to registration numbers. Divisions maybe combined if needed for the competition to run effectively.


Season Duration

8 weeks for all competitions in Term 4. No games are held during September/December school holidays.
